This picture is not here for the notes, to be liked or reblogged. This picture is here to honour the great man who was my head teacher for 5 years.
Martin Bacon passed away on 13th May 2013 from a brain tumor He turned our entire school around, taking us all under his wing. He wasn’t a regular head master, he was genuinely special. This man would cut off a conversation with a member of staff to say hello to us. He knew each and every one of our 1,200 names.
Mr Bacon was a blessing to us and I’m am lucky to have known such a wonderful person.
These balloons were attached to a memory every student had written and were set off into the sky. We all clapped and cheered, sending Mr Bacon off to heaven or wherever.
We miss you, Mr Bacon. Thank you for all you did.
You were too good for this world.
Rest in peace xx
